Located in Balmain in the centre of Darling Street, lies a three storey building. The clients, Adam and Ava, are a couple who have just moved out of their old home and were seeking a contemporary and stylish apartment where it would be close to their jobs in the CBD. Part of this project was to design apartments that would fill a level of the Balmain building and then to focus on one in more detail.

Through the use of furniture such as the wavy sofa in the living room as well as the custom made TV unit and bedroom joinery has allowed for a unique and contemporary design according to the clients wishes. As a response to the brief the main colours throughout this design were mostly white, keeping it fresh and neutral to maintain a minimal appearance. The rooms are open which allows for accessible circulation. The design is also Asian inspired through the use of oriental wallpaper as a wall feature in the master bedroom paired up with dark oak timber joinery and timber flooring throughout the apartment.
